POLY POLY, while searching for inspiration, stumbled upon the acapella of John Legend’s and Al Green’s „Stay with me“. They realized that making the songs their own and and flowing along those familiar melodies changed their workflow and their perception of making music in the studio. It was liberating.

„Forgotten Remixes from the Future“ is a collection of songs based on acapellas from different periods and genres which are brought together by the unique production methods of POLY POLY. It ranges from the above-named „Stay with me“, a high energy cocktail of soulful vocals and future funk to Zero-7s „Futures“, a psychedelic, downtempo joyride.
